	Dave Ramsay Financial Planning LHPC is offering several Dave Ramsay Financial Planning series this summer, for Youth and Adults. The Youth Series will be in August, and Adult Financial Peace begins in September. See attached flyer to sign up and get more info!


	Child Development Center voted #1, second year in a row! The Votes are in . . . Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church, Child Development Center voted *“#1 Best Day Care in Lake Highlands,”* 2009 by the Lake Highlands Neighbors Go magazine, after having received the same award in June 2008. Thank you, Lake Highlands, teachers, staff and students at the CDC for making this possible.


	Arts Camp 2009 July 6-10 PreK-5th gr. "Rock-N-Roll" Registration is now full. If you wish, a waiting list is available. More spots may open up as we get closer to July and we will contact those on the waiting list as spots become available. Download Registration Form [pdf]


	LHPC is celebrating its 10 year Anniversary with a year long celebration! (Click to see history of LHPC.) Activities and events scheduled to mark the anniversary throughout 2009 are: Winter Wonderland Celebration Dinner (January 10) Guest preacher Rev. Robert E Shelton (former LHPC Senior Pastor) & potluck lunch (February 22) Outdoor Worship and Church Picnic- May 31 at 11AM, picnic to follow. Guest Preacher- Rev. John Purcell (Former LHPC Pastor) June 28- Potluck lunch to follow Guest Preacher- Rev. Robert M. Shelton (Former LHPC Scholar in Residence) September 27- Potluck Lunch to follow. LHPC Homecoming Celebration- Nov 1- 11:00AM, Guest Preacher Rev. Perryn Rice (former LHPC Assoc Pastor of Nurture & Outreach.) Potluck lunch to follow along with afternoon fun and activities for all ages. All events are open to the entire community. More details to come!
