Lake Highlands Presbyterian Kids
There are many activities for children at LHPC, we offer everything from Children's Church to Arts Camp. Check back often for more opportunities for toddlers-5th graders at LHPC.
Children In The Chancel
Children, 5th Grade and under, enjoy a special time geared just for them during our 11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. Children in this age group come forward to hear a special message presented just for them; however, the adults have been known to enjoy this time just as much as the kids!
Stay-N-Play
Children, 3 years through 5th grade, are invited to stay for our almost monthly Stay-N-Play activities. We enjoy lunch together and stay to play games and work on service projects or take field trips to a special place for lunch or a fun activity! Contact the
Programs Director for more information or the church office at 214-348-2133.
Pint Size Productions
LHPC Children's Theatre Ministry. This group of 1st-6th graders meets at announced times throughout the year to work on dramas and presentations for worship and special services or events. Contact the
Programs Director or
Director of Music Ministries for more information. Church office at 214-348-2133.
Arts Camp
Arts Camp
LHPC offers a one-week Arts Camp for Kindergarten through 6th grade each summer. This is an opportunity for children to be exposed to many different fine arts by taking part in several music classes, drama, creative movement, and art projects and even by participating in a recital or performance at the end of the week. Contact the Director of Music Ministries or the Programs Director for more information or the church office at 214-348-2133.
Summer Camp
Many summer camp opportunities are offered each summer. Red River Presbytery summer camp takes place at Camp WOW in Oklahoma--a great camp with tons of activities where children entering 4-6th grade spend the week in small group study, sports, crafts, water front games and fun as well as many other adventures! Registration forms are available in January at
www.campcumberland.org. Many other camping opportunities are offered through the Grace Presbytery camping program for ages 6-15 years. Check out
