Fellowship

Our “Twenty/Thirty Something” and “Weekenders” groups meet regularly and often join together for concerts, games, dinners and other fun activities that further personal connections among our younger members.

Men’s Fellowship is an informal monthly dinner meeting of the men of the church for bible study and fellowship on the First Tuesday (7PM) of each month.  This group has many church and community projects throughout the year, as well as a scholarship fund for youth summer campers.  The men come together to prepare the “2nd Sunday Breakfast” on a regular basis, providing food and fellowship for all members of the church while raising funds for the summer camp scholarships.

All women of every age are welcome to participate in special programs, mission/service projects, bible study and activities throughout the year, each designed to enrich our lives as individuals and to work together to further Christian development in our homes, community, and the world. Four general events are scheduled through the September-May year: October -Stone Soup Luncheon / December -Women’s Christmas Event / April - Annual Birthday Tea / May - Installation Luncheon.

Circle groups are available for various ages and offer an opportunity for monthly study and prayer in a small group environment:

Circle 1  — third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the homes of various members.

Circle 2  — third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the homes of various members.

Circle of Hope  — third Wednesday of each month at 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Women In Faith   — this group is comprised of women varying in ages from college graduates to mom's with kids in college and beyond.  The group communicates regarding events and meetings via email , and meets monthly for bible study/ book reviews/ or fun outings.  If you are looking for a more contemporary group of women to connect with at LHPC, this one might be for you.

IN FAITH, we.....
- meet to discover God through literature, discussion, bible study
- encourage and challenge each other to participate in the life and
   worship of our church
- serve our church and community through meaningful outreach
- share our lifes' joys and burdens, with humor, compassion and
   friendship
- connect through our unique common bonds - as mothers, daughters,
   sisters, wives, girlfriends, and friends

This group for adults age 55+ meets regularly for service projects and fun outings, events and community activities.
