We are called to:
PROVIDE affordable clean-water systems for people in all parts of the world. Polluted drinking water is a major cause of disease and death in the developing world. In many cases clean bottled water is available, but the price is beyond the means of many. Water must be both clean and affordable.
PARTNER with community organizations to be responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of the clean water system. Partnerships with local churches and organizations lie at the heart of this project. Without this the effectiveness of the hardware is significantly diminished.
ASSIST in the development of health and hygiene education that stimulates the demand for the understanding of the benefits of clean water. Education of the local community is crucial to the ultimate success of the purification system. Living waters for the World seeks to see that its partners install no treatment hardware without paying equal attention to the education of the community that will be using the clean water."
