by God, we deepen our own discipleship and spread God's word through acts of kindness, service, and welcome.
Pastor Anne comes to ministry as a second career after seventeen years as a practicing clinical psychologist. Her educational background includes a B. A. in Psychology and Philosophy from Stephens College; a Ph. D. in Psychology from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and a Masters of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Austin, Texas.
Since moving to Dallas from Ft. Smith Arkansas where Pastor Anne served as the Associate Pastor at FPC Fort Smith, she and her family (husband George Holden, children Meg, John, and Paul, and newest family puppy, Ringo) have embraced the abundant opportunities that Dallas has to offer. "My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family; relaxing at home or exploring all that Dallas has to offer in music, culture, food and the arts. I love all kinds of good music: classical, rock, jazz. I also enjoy reading, cycling, yoga and gardening." Anne can often be seen riding her bike around White Rock Lake, commuting to church on her moped, or reading on her front porch.
Pastor Anne welcomes your interest in Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church and invites you to come visit her and all the wonderful people at LHPC.
